GoCharge offers cell phone charging stations

GoCharge Athena charging stationNEW YORK — GoCharge offers a series of cell phone charging stations that campgrounds and RV resorts can use to keep mobile customers connected to the outside world even as they escape to the great outdoors.

“Power is a necessity, not a luxury in today’s mobile society,” said Ben Richman, spokesperson. “With GoCharge, you can keep your customers focused on the fun they are having and on your business rather than on their phone’s battery power.”

The devices come with a 17- or 24-inch LCD touch screen with media player that allows the business to display pictures or run videos to engage customers in services being offered at the campground while the customer charges his or her phone. The stations can be customized with light boxes and billboards to further draw attention to services offered.

The GoCharge can charge up to 16 devices at the same time, and it comes with tips that are compatible with 99 percent of the cell phones on the market, said Richman. They come in two configurations — locker style, so that customers can leave the phones as they charge; on an open bay.

Campground owners can chose to offer the service free, or opt for a fee-based system that requires customers to swipe a credit card to activate the charging station. The machines can be ordered as free-standing floor models, or counter top displays. They can also be mounted on a wall.

Long- and short-term lease options are also offered.

“We have sold dozens of kiosks to campsite owners,” said Richmond. “Our cell phone charging kiosks are a great amenity to provide to your customers. Keeping your customers connected with a green, safe, secure, fun utility makes everyone happy and allows campers to stay connected and stay longer. Our campground solutions a win-win for your business and your customers.”
