LAKE HAVASU CITY, Ariz. — Mac McCoy, also known as “Mac the Fire Guy” is traveling through Lake Havasu City and offering expertise on RV fire safety — free of charge, reports Today’s News-Herald.

“Fighting an RV fire is a specialty; there are dangers associated with the RV fires,” McCoy told the newspaper.

His training next week is for RV enthusiasts and firefighters.

The Sunday training will be at Prospector’s RV Resort in Havasu. The Monday training will be at Havasu Falls RV Resort in Havasu. A third session is scheduled Wednesday at Colorado River Adventures Lake Havasu RV Park, but is closed pending at-capacity attendance.
