Foreclosure auction of Maine RV resort shocks residents

YORK, Maine — Seacoastonline.com reports that seasonal residents of Flagg’s RV Resort in York were unaware the park was scheduled for foreclosure auction on March 22, according to two campers interviewed.

The two seasonal park residents said they paid Morgan RV Resorts LLC all or part of the money due by April 1 for the 2013 summer season.

Resident Melvin Riggs, of Oklahoma, said representatives from Morgan called him almost daily for at least a week, trying to get him to pay the remaining $3,700 on his estimated $5,200 summer lease prior to the April 1 deadline, writes Seacoastonline.com.

“They were trying to get us to pay the bulk of it early,” said Riggs, who learned of the auction only through contact with The York Weekly on Friday. Riggs said he’s made three payments totaling about $1,500 to Morgan, says Seacoastonline.com.

I worked briefly for this company in 2011 … I was transferred off of the job I was hired for , and sent to manage two “resorts” in Maine. My friend managed Flaggs. These people (Morgan) are a joke… when I think of Bob Moser and Sue,… well I hesitate to use the word “crooks” , but only because I don’t want to be sued.
