FL: St. Andrews State Park partially opens but cancels reservations

PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. — While the campground at St. Andrews State Park has reopened, those with reservations have found that their bookings have been cancelled, as the park is only accepting walk-ins.

After Hurricane Michael, the recreational areas of the park reopened fairly quickly, but the campgrounds suffered extensive damage due to downed trees and damaged infrastructure. The campgrounds only recently reopened three months after the storm, with park officials confirming they have 30 sites available for rent on a first-come-first-serve basis.
