FL: Santa Rosa to consider hotel, RV park

PENSACOLA, Fla. — The Santa Rosa County Commissioners next week will consider altering the landscape of Navarre Beach, and they are already facing resistance from residents who want to preserve the pristine area from development.

The plan that will come before the board on Oct. 25 will propose a different commercial use for 13 acres of Santa Rosa Sound-side commercial property in the Navarre Beach Marine Park to potentially build a hotel, an RV park and adding amenities such as paddleboard and kayak rentals.
