INVERNESS, Fla. — Inverness city officials are putting out the welcome mat to a proposed 206-acre upscale RV park, and its owner asking to be annexed into the city.
John Eden, an Inverness attorney and owner of the proposed 439-lot RV and pull-trailer site that borders Lake Spivey on the east, asked the Inverness City Council this week to annex the land.
“I’d much rather deal with city hall than with than county government. You never know who you’re going to talk to … when you go there,” said the sixth-generation Citrus County resident.
