FL: Falling waters state park reopens after Hurricane Michael

WASHINGTON COUNTY, Fla. — Falling Waters State Park in Chipley reopened last Tuesday.

While there wasn’t significant building damage in the park, officials said there were many downed trees.

The park’s iconic waterfall flooded well above the viewing deck.

The water at the lake was all the way up to the sidewalk.
