Entrance permits issued for proposed Del. RV park

SUSSEX COUNTY, Del. — Sussex County’s 4,500 spaces for recreational vehicles in 17 recreational vehicle parks, resorts, and campgrounds could be set to grow, reports the Cape Gazette.

Masseys Landing Park Inc. is seeking approval from the Sussex County Planning and Zoning Commission and the Sussex County Council for 332 new sites in Long Neck, says the Cape Gazette.

Last week, the Delaware Department of Transportation issued entrance permits for Masseys Landing Park Inc. DelDOT also filed a letter of no objection to the proposed RV park, reports the Cape Gazette.

A planning and zoning public hearing on the project is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Thursday, May 23. County council, which makes the final decision, will hold a hearing at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 18.
