CA: Cacapon Resort State Park to get $25 million in improvements

BERKELEY SPRINGS, Calif. — Gov. Jim Justice, state and county officials and Cacapon Resort State Park officials conducted a ceremonial groundbreaking Friday for a $25.38 million improvement and expansion project at the park.

Work actually began in October by Paramount Builders of Saint Albans, and is expected to be completed by 2020.

The park is one of West Virginia’s original state parks and is named after a Shawnee word meaning “medicine waters.”
