B.C. Government issues reminders and warnings to campers ahead of busy long weekend

VANCOUVER, British Columbia — The BC Government’s Ministry of Environment and Climate Change Strategy is sharing a number of reminders and warnings to campers ahead of the Victoria Day long weekend.

Given that the upcoming weekend is usually the unofficial start of camping season, anyone looking to enjoy specific parks or campgrounds is advised to book as well in advance as possible.

The BC Government explains that individual campsites can be reserved up to three months in advance.
