While Harvey Mickelson never held an ARVC board position at the national level, he has regularly donated his time to support Arizona ARVC and its members for more than a dozen years. He personally distributed hundreds of thousands of Arizona ARVC’s campground directories at the nine-day Quartzsite Sports, Vacation & RV Show.

While one Saskatchewan campground doesn’t appear to have an abnormally large crowd coming its way, a fair number of campers are expected to make their way out.

The Michigan Association of Recreation Vehicles and Campgrounds (MARVAC) will be celebrating the Michigan state parks centennial with the Michigan Department of Natural Resources (DNR) at a special event May 18 at Interlochen State Park, in the northwest area of Michigan’s lower peninsula.

“You really don’t need a tent, an RV or even a sleeping bag to enjoy a camping experience in the Carolinas, whether you want to camp on a mountaintop, along a lake or on a campsite with a view of the Altantic Ocean,” said Dee Witting, executive director of the Carolinas Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds.
