(March 19, 2018) — Until recently – like many RVers – when we were away from our home on extended RV trips, we had our mail held for our return at the post office.

(March 19, 2018) — If you travel with kids, you’re probably constantly on the lookout for kid-friendly things to do during your adventures. Fortunately, there are tons of awesome activities out there, and many of them are perfect for children.

(March 19, 2018) — We attended a social gathering last month. With the exception of Al and I, all the attendees owned homes here in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. About half also owned some form of RV, but none had ever lived in their RV full-time. These were RVing part-timers and some-timers.

(March 19, 2018) — We have a great little family owned business just a mile or so from us called Anchor Hardware, and its our “go to” place whenever we need something. When I went there yesterday in search of drill bits, they told me to try the cobalt drill bits they carry.

(March 19, 2018) — This morning I thought I’d post a pic on our Facebook page of a Shamrock trailer, wishing you all a Happy St. Patrick’s Day. That thought soon morphed into writing a post on something I’ve never done before: A hybrid trailer.

(March 19, 2018) — Our RV stairs and rear carrier were showing some wear with peeling paint and rust. Both are not asthetically pleasing, but with rust, in particular, if a corroded area is left untouched for a period of time the metal can weaken. Luckily, it’s simple to get rid of the rust in three easy steps.

(March 19, 2018) — The Clallam County Parks, Fair & Facilities Department is considering changes to the Dungeness Recreation Area Master Plan which could alter the face of the park as visitors and residents know it — including the addition of more than 40 spaces for recreational vehicles.

(March 19, 2018) — The Litchfield City Council voted unanimously March 3 to begin an online reservation program, similar to what other campgrounds and state parks are currently using.

(March 19, 2018) — The Black Hills Pioneer reports the state has hired a private attorney to serve as a special assistant attorney general. The state Supreme Court last week said it will allow the state to intervene.

(March 19, 2018) — Lisa Lee, Relay for Life of Pearl River County organizer, said the theme for the evening is “Purple Rain” and will incorporate an 80’s theme. Attendees are encouraged to dressed in 80’s fashion.

(March 19, 2018) — James Kesterke, show chairman, reported the show attendance was up 21 percent over the 2017 show.

(March 19, 2018) — A coalition of residents from the South Canyon area and greater Glenwood Springs has formed in opposition to plans by tourism industry mogul Steve Beckley to study possible development of the city-owned South Canyon hot springs with camping and other amenities.

(March 19, 2018) — B.K. Ison, owner of Horizon RV Center, hadn’t always been the owner of a small recreational vehicle store in Lake Park.

(March 19, 2018) — Clallam County commissioners will discuss recreational vehicle camping, living and storage on private lots Monday.

(March 19, 2018) — They found their answer in a Winnebago. The young couple bought the $109,000, 25-foot RV about a year ago after selling most of their possessions to embrace a permanent life on the road.

(March 19, 2018) — Patrick Industries announced today that it has completed the acquisition of the business and certain assets of Bristol, Indiana-based Collins & Company, Inc., a distributor of appliances, trim products, fuel systems, flooring, tile, and other related building materials primarily to the recreational vehicle market as well as the housing and industrial markets.

(March 19, 2018) — JUCY RV Rentals announced its expansion into Canada with a new Vancouver branch. JUCY bookings are currently available for early May.
