Velvac introduces new vision system for Class C RVs

LAS VEGAS — Velvac, Inc., a manufacturer of components to the truck, bus, recreation and specialty vehicle industries, will be featuring its next generation vision system, the Lane Change Guardian, at the RVDA convention this week in Las Vegas.

This new product reinforces Velvac’s position in the RV industry as the premier developer of commercial vehicle vision system technology, a press release noted.

The new Lane Change Guardian seamlessly integrates multiple unique Velvac technologies into a vision system developed to improve driver safety and reduce sideswipe accidents, the release noted.

It takes Velvac’s camera-based technology aimed at improving driver field of view and object detection over mirrors alone, and incorporates a sequential turn signal that more effectively alerts other vehicles of driver intentions. This complete package helps to reduce accidents, providing a safer driving environment for RV derivers and surrounding vehicles, the release noted.

Dealers attending the RVDA convention can visit the Velvac display at Booth No. 102 at RVDA for a demonstration of this new technology.
