Production begins on Grand Design Solitude X-Series

MIDDLEBURY, Ind. — Grand Design Recreational Vehicle Company announced today the introduction of its new Solitude 320X Extended Stay fifth wheel.

Marc Hauser, general manager of Grand Design’s Solitude brand, said, “Our team has worked non-stop since December to create a shorter and more price conscious Extended Stay Solitude fifth wheel for both our dealers and customers. Our goal was to deliver this new platform without compromising our celebrated Grand Design quality, features and styling.

“I am very pleased to announce that we have met and exceeded our goals,” said Hauser. “The Solitude 320X boasts features like 101-inch wide-body construction, drop frame with huge pass-through storage, solid surface countertops, raised panel cabinetry and residential theater seating. The result of our efforts is a high-end unit that is shorter and lighter but yet generously spacious and full of amenities.”

Grand Design specifically targeted the 320X for the under $55,000 retail segment of the market in which the Solitude brand has not yet participated, he explained.

“We are confident that our dealers and customers will be as elated as we are with the new Solitude 320X’s unbeatable package and pricing,” said Hauser.
