OSHA compliant hitch moves RVs safely and efficiently

BELLE PLAINE, Minn. – Gerres Welding & Mfg., LLC, Steve’s Hitch, is a patented, OSHA-compliant hydraulic-operated hitch attachment for skidsteer loaders and utility tractors.

Steve’s Hitch provides the operator with superior visibility and precise placement when hooking up to equipment, a release from the company said. Steve’s Hitch allows the operator to safely and efficiently hook up to equipment with a variety of hitch types—coupler/ball, pintle, clevis/tongue, fifth wheel or gooseneck style—without leaving the skidsteer or tractor, the release stated.

The patented, hydraulic-locking mechanism ensures ball/coupler clevis/tongue and pintle hitches will be securely locked to the skidsteer or tractor, preventing the risk of equipment coming loose, risking injury or damage to human or property assets, the company said in the release. It continued to say Steve’s Hitch eliminates the risk of using a forklift with holes drilled into the tines to move RVs or camper trailers around the yard, and costly fines from OSHA.
