Gulf Stream Coach debuts two bunkhouse plans

NAPPANEE, Ind. — Gulf Stream Coach announced the release of the 19BFD and the 23BHS, two new floorplans that promise to expand the Vintage Cruiser line by adding family-friends bunk models.

“The new floor plans come in direct response to numerous suggestions we’ve heard at RV shows, dealer open house events, and other retail activities,” said Tim Dennig, national sales manager for the lightweight division building the Vintage Cruiser at Gulf Stream Coach.

“Of course RV-savvy couples love the Vintage Cruiser – But we’ve discovered that families do too, whether or not they’ve ever been camping before,” he explained. “We’re really excited about our ability to use the Vintage Cruiser experience to bring the RV lifestyle to that huge family market.”

Both new models feature the welded aluminum frame, laminated fiberglass construction, Azdel synthetic wall substrate, and one-piece seamless fiberglass roof used throughout the Vintage Cruiser line.  Both also feature the signature 1950s style furnishings and decor, coupled with state-of-the-art appliances, electronics, and comfort systems.

And both bring the functionality and appeal of bunks to accommodate a new wave of families who want to enjoy the Vintage Cruiser line.

In addition to the two rear bunks, both the 22-foot 19BFD and 26-foot 23BHS provide a full dry bath, a galley-style kitchen with stainless steel appliances, and a roomy dinette; the 26 footer also includes a slide-out and sofa.

“All campers who have less-than-ideal memories of sleeping on a convertible dinette or jack knife sofa, will be pleasantly surprised to find that both models include a full-size, full-comfort Murphy Bed,” said Dennig. “Initial retail response to the release of the the 19BFD and 23BHS has been quite strong, and suggests that the incredibly popular ‘retro-style’ Vintage line will be a big hit with the large family-oriented segment of the RV market for whom bunkhouse-style accommodations are a requirement.”

As a direct result of the growth of Vintage Cruiser sales, a number of changes have been introduced at the Gulf Stream manufacturing facility to increase production efficiencies and to add new floorplans.
