Entegra debuts the Anthem mid-range Class A motor coach

MIDDLEBURY, Ind. — Entegra Coach introduced their mid-range rear diesel powered Class A motorhome, the Anthem.

Starting with the chassis, Entegra Coach engineers its X-Bridge frames into the Spartan Mountain Master tag axle chassis. Adding rigidity for better suspension and a smoother ride, the X-Bridge also helps prevent flexing throughout, which reduces noise, according to the release. Power comes from a Cummins ISL turbocharged 450 HP engine featuring an Allison GEN 4 3000 MH six-speed shift pad transmission.

Construction standards include Aluma-Tru Superstructure construction on 16-inch centers, a fiberglass roof complete with front and rear molded caps, steel reinforced front cap and windshield frame, Ultra-Vision wrap-around one-piece windshield and a Polar Pack insulation package. The exterior includes a full-body paint package on a gel-coat fiberglass exterior. Frameless tinted dual-pane safety-glass windows and flush-mounted slideouts finish the look.

Available in 43- to almost 45-foot lengths, six floorplans (42DLQ, 42DEQ, 42RBQ, 44B, 44DLQ and 44SL) and multiple slideouts, Anthem is decorated with satin nickel lighting throughout, solid-hardwood cabinetry, crown molding and porcelain tiles. A 46-inch Samsung LED HDTV (50-inch in the 42DEQ and 44B) with Bose CineMate digital home theatre speaker system, electric fireplace and Ultraleather furniture come together to add to the look.

The 2014 Anthem’s kitchen features a Samsung 23 cubic-foot refrigerator with ice maker and water dispenser, Jenn-Air flush-mounted electric two-burner touch control range, Fisher/Paykel dishwasher drawer, DuPont Corian solid-surface countertops with integrated sink, Samsung convection microwave oven with carousel, satin nickel high-rise single-lever faucet with pull-out sprayer, and two DuPont Corian sink covers. Added standards for 2014 include a silverware drawer, under-sink sink cover storage compartment, pullout cabinet extension with countertop, cutting board, a drawer with waste basket and two chrome overhead slideout baskets.

Anthem bedrooms include a cedar-lined wardrobe, King Select Comfort air mattress, ceiling fan, decorative headboard, and Bose Solo sound bar with a 32-inch Samsung LED HDTV. And an added convenience for 2014 is an in-bed remote secure coach locking system.  In the bath, satin nickel faucets are standard, as is the porcelain tile shower with integrated seat, DuPont Corian solid-surface countertops with integrated sink, overhead cabinet above stool and residential medicine cabinet with mirror.

The Anthem’s cab includes the VIP SmartWheel featuring controls such as push-button wiper, radio and cruise control, and tilt and telescoping steering, all in a wood-grain leather-wrapped steering wheel. Sirius satellite radio, Spartan Message Center, Touch-screen AM/FM/CD/DVD with GPS navigation, which can project from the Samsung 32-inch LED HDTV, Bluetooth and four speakers, color back-up camera and monitor, side cameras with turn signals, Ultraleather furniture and adjustable foot pedal are also included.

Other standard features of the 2014 Anthem include a Multiplex lighting system, Aqua-Hot 450 water and heating system with in-floor heat throughout the coach, Onan 12,500-watt diesel generator on sliding tray, outside shower, exterior entertainment system featuring a 40-inch LED HDTV with Sony CD/DVD player, radio and outdoor speakers, plus a slideout storage tray for easy accessibility with side-hinged baggage doors.
