Dometic introduces new PowerChannel Awning Rail

ELKHART — Dometic today released its new PowerChannel Awning Hardware Rail which provides power to accessories such as an LED light, a wireless speaker, and a fan to extend enjoyment outdoors.

Dometic developed the PowerChannel Awning Hardware Rail as a smart solution in response to feedback from RV manufacturers and dealers, who understand needs and desires best within the marketplace, said spokesperson Logan Montague.

The product mounts directly onto the arm of the awning and accessories simply twist and lock on; no extension cords are needed.

It allows simultaneous connection of multiple and different types of accessories with the awning open or closed.

The PowerChannel Awning Hardware Rail has been built for the outdoors. It is UV resistant and withstands harsh weather conditions, said Montague.

The PowerChannel Awning Hardware Rail comes in both black and white. It measures 1.26 inches tall, 27.49 inches wide and 2.42 inches deep and weighs 1.4 pounds.

The manufacturer’s suggested retail price is $49.99. Each accessory is sold separately at the following MSRP’s: Fan at $43.57; speaker at $53.25; and light at $49.74.
