BRANDON, S.D. — Luverne Truck Equipment, an American manufacturer of truck, SUV and work van accessories since 1963, has introduced a new grille guard made specifically for fun-loving, off-road-style pickups, the Baja Guard, a release from the company stated.
The all-new Baja Guard uses made-in-USA construction, a tough textured black powder coat finish and a no-drill, vehicle-specific fit.
Baja Guard’s 2-inch tubular steel frame is designed to add protection for the lower bumper and center grille area of the vehicle. Instead of the standard straight, horizontal cross-member, it has a center brush guard that extends out from the vehicle, defining its desert-racing-inspired style. This style is also found in the Baja Steps, and the two products together make a complementary pair for customizing the look of the vehicle.
The new Baja Guard is also built to readily accept LED lights. The center tube features three welded light mounting tabs that can be used for mounting work lights or an LED light bar.
Currently, applications for the Luverne Baja Guard include the Chevy Silverado 1500, Ford F150, GMC Sierra 1500 and Toyota Tacoma, and many more are currently under development. For specific application information, go to www.luvernetruck.com.
