LIVINGSTON, Texas — The Xscapers group, an off-shoot of the Escapees Club designed for people who live and work on the road, today announced its 2017 schedule of convergence gatherings.
Convergences are a great way to meet and connect with other like-minded RVers in atmosphere that is conducive to those working on the road, the release explained. Participants will find that with most of events, the activities start in the afternoon or evening in order for attendees to conduct their work during business hours and not miss out on the fun.
Here are the planned 2017 activities:
Joshua Tree Convergence April 7 to 13 in Joshua Tree, Calif. — This event is followed by Xscapers’ Coachella Convergence for those who want to park with the group and attend the music festival over the weekend. This convergence allows those who do not want to attend Coachella to still join in on the fun and also allows those attending to get to know each other before the chaos of the festival.
This is a free event for members only on BLM land just south of Joshua Tree.
For more information and to register, visit the Joshua Tree Convergence website.
Coachella Convergence April 13 to 17 in Indio, Calif. — This event will be centered around the annual Coachella Music and Arts Festival for those who want to park with the group and attend the event over the weekend.
Tickets to this festival are sold out, but one parking spot is available for someone who has tickets already or plans to purchase them from another source.

Alaska Convergence Aug. 4 to 11 — Several Xscapers will be making the journey to Alaska and Pau Hana Travels has put together a convergence along the way.
For more information on how to register, visit the Alaska Convergence web page.
Oregon Solarfest Convergence Aug. 17 to 22 — Join hosts David and Cheryl Goldstein, of Landmark Adventures, for a convergence centered around the Oregon Solarfest. This will be a casual and laid back event with a primary goal of bringing the community together to enjoy the awesome event with like-minded RVers. There will be a few social activities throughout the five days.

Eastern Caribbean Cruise Convergence Nov. 26 to Dec. 3 — People can take a break from work, leave their RVs behind and enjoy seven days on the seas with fellow Xscapers. There will be plenty of social opportunities, group dining, optional excursions and fun in the sun.

“Every year, we are looking to add new and exciting ideas into the mix and we hope you will be able to join us for one or all of them,” said Melanie Carr, Xscapers director.
