W.Va.: Follansbee camper park OK’d by council

(Jan. 11, 2018) -- Monday’s vote came after Jim Joseph of Eastridge Commerce Park presented plans to develop 48 lots for campers and recreational vehicles on 5 acres above the Ameriwash car wash off Archer Hill Road.

FOLLANSBEE, W.Va. — Follansbee Council approved, by a 3-2 vote, a proposed camper park below Highland Hills.

Monday’s vote came after Jim Joseph of Eastridge Commerce Park presented plans to develop 48 lots for campers and recreational vehicles on 5 acres above the Ameriwash car wash off Archer Hill Road.

Supporting the park were 2nd Ward Councilwoman Angela Kocher, 3rd Ward Councilwoman Kathy Santoro and 4th Ward Councilman Rudy Cipriani. Opposing it were 4th Ward Councilman Scott McMahon and 1st Ward Councilman George Robinson.
