TN: Department of Health warns residents to be cautious

(Aug. 9, 2018) -- The Tennessee Department of Health wants to remind residents and visitors of the danger of carbon monoxide or CO poisoning while they partake in summer-time activities like camping or boating.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The Tennessee Department of Health wants to remind residents and visitors of the danger of carbon monoxide or CO poisoning while they partake in summer-time activities like camping or boating.

They say that this summer alone 11 people have been sickened by carbon monoxide in four different incidents all involving recreational vehicles or boats.
