Three men escape RV blaze in Colorado

(Aug. 23, 2010) -- Three friends returning from a weeklong camping trip escaped unharmed from their motorhome just as it burst into flames Saturday in Colorado.

LOVELAND, Colo. — Three friends returning from a weeklong camping trip escaped unharmed from their motorhome just as it burst into flames shortly after noon Saturday while stopped at a light at Interstate 25 and Colorado 402, according to the ReporterHerald.com.

Flames shot from under the engine compartment cover, between the front seats of the 1984 Southwind RV, just as the driver came to a stop.

Just as the three jumped free of the motorhome, flames engulfed it.
