RVers give high marks to Chilliwack visitor’s center

(March 30, 2011) -- A combination of high visibility, easy access from Highway 1 and tourist-friendly facilities including picnic grounds, sani-dump and a water filling station all help to make the facility a popular stop off for visitors in the area.

CHILLIWACK, B.C. – Readers of RV West Magazine voted the Chilliwack Visitor Centre on Luckakuck Way among the top three information centres in British Columbia, the Chilliwack Times reported.

RV West conducts its annual Reader’s Choice poll to identify favorites among many relevant tourism categories.

The Camperland RV Resort operated by Holiday Trails Resorts in Chilliwack was voted second favourite in the BC RV Park/Private campground category.

A combination of factors including high visibility and easy access from Highway 1, the space to hold an extensive amount of visitor information about communities throughout B.C., and tourist-friendly facilities including picnic grounds, sani-dump and a water filling station all help to make the facility a popular stop off for visitors in the area.
