RV stolen in Arkansas, set on fire in Tennessee field

(Oct. 22, 2013) -- The Dyer County Sheriff's Office is working with Arkansas law enforcement officials to determine who may have stolen a 2000 Fleetwood Discovery RV in Arkansas, and then burned it near the Mississippi River in Dyer County, Tenn., reports the State Gazette.

DYER COUNTY, Tenn. — The Dyer County Sheriff’s Office is working with Arkansas law enforcement officials to determine who may have stolen a 2000 Fleetwood Discovery RV in Arkansas, and then burned it near the Mississippi River in Dyer County, Tenn., reports the State Gazette.

According to Dyer County Sheriff Jeff Box, the RV was reported stolen in Blytheville, Ark., on Wednesday, Oct. 15, around 1 p.m. The State Gazette says earlier that morning, deputies responded to an object on fire in a field in the White’s Lake area along Great River Road.

Box is asking anyone that may have seen the RV being driven or individuals near the RV to contact the Dyer County Sheriff’s Office or Crime Stoppers.
