RV Life: How the government shutdown affects RVers

WASHINGTON — A short-term bill was passed to end the government shutdown. This reopened the government and provides funding only through Feb. 8.

On Jan. 19, the federal government shut down after Congress was not able to agree on a budget. While this doesn’t stop the U.S. Postal Service and law enforcement, it does affect RVers, hikers, and campers looking to visit the national parks, monuments, and forests.
