Rolling in a RV: Nanaimo Museum

WASHINGTON — This excellent small museum covers the history of Nanaimo, a traditional homeland of the native Snuneymuxw and a city founded by the Hudson Bay company chiefly to export coal mined in the hills to the north.

Exhibits include First Nations, coal mining, China Town, logging and lumber mills.
