Roadtreking: The secret for getting mail on the road

WASHINGTON — Do you worry about important mail piling up at the post office or your sticks and bricks home?

Until recently – like many RVers – when we were away from our home on extended RV trips, we had our mail held for our return at the post office.

But here’s the rub: The US post office will only hold mail for a maximum of 30 days. You must assign a starting and ending date to have mail held.
