ALTOONA, Pa. — After retiring 10 years ago, Mary Rhyner and her husband, Warren, hit the road in their recreational vehicle, like thousands of — if not a million — Americans. But they always could come home to their Fairview neighborhood house in Altoona. Until two years ago, when they sold it.
“The typical things people do when they retire is work the yard and clean the house,” she said. “I said the heck with that stuff. I want to live life.”
