Outdoorsy founders go nomadic

Outdoorsy founders go nomadic

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. — Jen Young and Jeff Cavins, who co-founded startup — an Airbnb for RVs — are taking the challenge to ditch their North Beach apartment to embark on a year-long cross-country odyssey in a 27-foot Eddie Bauer Airstream trailer, according to The San Francisco Chronicle.

“To make Outdoorsy really work, we knew we had to live among the RV community,” said Cavins, to The San Francisco Chroncile, as he toted a suitcase and quilt to the Airstream on Monday, the couple’s Cockapoo Lucy Chew scampering ahead. “We need to see ’em, meet ’em and be with ’em. We decided to throw everything in storage and hit the road.”
