OR: Tiny house presentation scheduled in Albany

(Jan. 17, 2018) -- People interested in learning about so-called "tiny houses" and how tiny house villages can be used to address housing needs are invited to an informational meeting this month.

ALBANY, Ore. — People interested in learning about so-called “tiny houses” and how tiny house villages can be used to address housing needs are invited to an informational meeting this month.

The meeting will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Jan. 21, at First Christian Church in Albany, 432 Ferry St. SW. Dan Bryant, executive director of SquareOne Villages in Eugene, will be the speaker.

SquareOne’s mission is to create self-managed communities of cost-effective tiny homes for people in need of housing. The nonprofit organization has two communities so far.
