(May 18, 2017) -- Citing an recent uptick in illegal RV parking across the metro, Gresham city council decided Tuesday a permit would now be required for anyone wishing to park their recreation vehicle on city streets.

PORTLAND, Ore. — Citing an recent uptick in illegal RV parking across the metro, Gresham city council decided Tuesday a permit would now be required for anyone wishing to park their recreation vehicle on city streets.

The measure aims to put a more efficient system in place to enforce the city’s standing 72-hour limit on RV parking after numerous complaints from unhappy residents.
