NV: Thefts reported of RV propane tanks, batteries

(Feb. 17, 2017) -- The Sparks Police Department said there has been a spike in the theft of recreational vehicle propane tanks and batteries recently. They are asking for the public’s help in finding the thief or thieves and they remind people to protect their property.

SPARKS, Nev. — The Sparks Police Department said there has been a spike in the theft of recreational vehicle propane tanks and batteries recently.

They are asking for the public’s help in finding the thief or thieves and they remind people to protect their property.

The batteries and propane tanks were stolen from recreational vehicles parked in driveways and on city streets in various places in Sparks. At least one time a dark sports utility vehicle was seen in the area at the time of the theft.
