(Aug. 3, 2017) -- Fires burning throughout the state serve as a reminder for people going on camping trips. It is one of the most popular summer activities, but now campers are concerned.

KALISPELL, Mont. — Fires burning throughout the state serve as a reminder for people going on camping trips. It is one of the most popular summer activities, but now campers are concerned.

Dan Hunter and his wife are frequent visitors to a Swan Lake campground.

“We’ve been coming here for 20 years. We’ve been fortunate here, every year we’ve been here there’s been smoke all around us, but there’s never been a fire here,” he said.
