Keep your campers and valuables safe when gone

(Feb. 20, 2014) -- Here are some tips from a neighborhood Watch spokesman on how to keep your motorhome and valuables safe while you are gone.

MARYBOROUGH, Australia — A Burrum Heads Neighborhood Watch spokeswoman explained to Fraser Coast Chronicle people should record identification numbers of their van and vehicle and serial numbers on fixtures such as microwaves and fridges.

She also advised people to ensure they had a good-quality hitch lock and to consider fitting a safe for valuables, Fraser Coast Chronicle explains.

She explained to Fraser Coast Chronicle people who were going to be away from their camp site for a few days or more, should notify the park manager or trusted neighbors and leave their contact details.
