IL: Council passes ordinance restricting RVs on streets

(Sept. 12, 2017) -- The Sandwich City Council unanimously passed an ordinance restricting the parking of commercial or recreational vehicles, trailers or truck tractors on city streets.

PLANO, Ill. — At its regular meeting on Monday night, the Sandwich City Council unanimously passed an ordinance restricting the parking of commercial or recreational vehicles, trailers or truck tractors on city streets.

Aldermen had two drafts of the ordinance to choose from–one, which banned the parking of the vehicles completely, and two, which allowed vehicles to park on city streets for a 12-hour period.
