Fla. RV resort residents may lose homes if sale goes through

(Oct. 24, 2013) -- Some residents of the Town and Country R.V. Resort in Sanford are worried they'll soon be out of a home, writes WFTV. The resort's owner is trying to sell the land to possible developers.

SANFORD, Fla. — Some residents of the Town and Country R.V. Resort in Sanford are worried they’ll soon be out of a home, writes WFTV. The resort’s owner is trying to sell the land to possible developers.

Management said the park is going through sales negotiations, and if sold, everyone will have to go, reports WFTV. Management also said if the sale goes through, they will give residents three months notice and two months free rent to prepare for the move.

But 77-year-old Paul Bordenkircher doesn’t think it’s enough.

“If we are forced out of here, I can’t see that two months of free rent is any kind of compensation,” he said.
