OCALA, Fla. — Don’t be surprised if you are in a time warp on the road near Hawthorne Saturday — the Tin Can Tourist vintage camper show of lovingly restored recreational vehicles will be at Little Orange Creek Nature Park on Saturday.

Sleek aluminum Airstreams, boxy Mainliners and teardrop Scotties will be among the 20 or vintage trailers and motorhomes already signed up to roll in.

The club, which started in Tampa in 1919 with the first wave of auto campers, will hold the open house from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for visitors to check out the campers and chat with their owners. The park is charging a $2 entry fee.
