FL: Crestview gets new RV rules

(March 16, 2018) -- The City Council passed new rules for storing RVs on residential property, replacing an older, more restrictive ordinance after nearly a year of debate. The provision passed by a vote of 4-1 at the March 12 council meeting.

CRESTVIEW, Fla. — An issue that the city has been working on for nearly a year finally has some resolution.

The City Council passed new rules for storing RVs on residential property, replacing an older, more restrictive ordinance after nearly a year of debate. The provision passed by a vote of 4-1 at the March 12 council meeting.

The new ordinance states that one recreational vehicle may be stored on a parcel of residential land, provided it is stored in the rear or side of the property, and is at least three feet from the property line.
