WINKLER, Manitoba — People who feel their travel images are flat and boring often wonder how some folks always have pictures that blow others away. Leisure Travel Vans produced a frugal guide to better images and travelers probably won’t need a new camera to get there.

“‘You take great pictures–you must have a great camera!’ is a comment is quite far from the truth and really annoys me when I hear it,” writes Claude Angers, from Leisure Travel Vans.

“In fact, many photographers have taken outstanding images with only their mobile phones as equipment and they have done so by following simple steps and applying them with care,” he added. “Some people are making a living by writing books and blogging about shooting images with their trusty iPhone. So it’s really not about the camera.”

Angers produced five tips to help travelers take their images to another level without breaking the bank. The story is available on the Leisure Travel Vans website.
