Drugs, alcohol killed Iowa woman at campground

(Oct. 20, 2014) -- The death of a woman at Maquoketa Caves State Park, Iowa, in September has been ruled an accidental overdose of alcohol and prescription drugs.

MAQUOKETA, Iowa — The death of a woman at Maquoketa Caves State Park in September has been ruled an accidental overdose of alcohol and prescription drugs, according to WGEM.

Jackson County Sheriff’s Deputy Russ Long told WGEM that there were no indications of foul play in the death of 40-year-old Stacy Sterrett, of Harper, Iowa.
