CHICAGO — Don’t just rely on an A/C to stay cool this summer. It may not be enough if temperatures are in the triple digits, and if it breaks down, air conditioners can be costly to repair. But there are other ways to beat the heat in your RV, and we’re not talking about rolling down the window. These five accessories can be total lifesavers while you’re out on the road this season.

Portable rotating fans

They may not blow cold air like an A/C, but portable fans work well for air flow and circulation. Plus, during the summer you can use them to blow hot air out.

Window covers

When the sun is beating down through your windows, the inside will heat up fast. You can block out UV rays by setting up windshield and side window covers when you park, like these ones from ADCO.
