Couple ditched jobs to live in camper van

(May 9, 2018) -- A couple have told how they ditched their post-grad jobs in Los Angeles to live on the road in a 42-year-old camper van, which has now been their home for six years.

LONDON, England — A couple have told how they ditched their post-grad jobs in Los Angeles to live on the road in a 42-year-old camper van, which has now been their home for six years.

Kit Whistler, 30, and J.R. Switchgrass, 31, who first met in high school in Florida as teenage sweethearts, have now been living in their Volkswagen camper, nicknamed Sunshine, since 2012.

In this time, they have been across America eight times, crossed over into Mexico and into Canada, visited 50 of America’s 58 National Parks – and amassed more than 158,000 followers on Instagram thanks to their envy-inducing travel snaps.
