Colorado RV battle going to the polls

(Oct. 28, 2011) -- The Englewood City Council has worked on parking rules for RVs for some time, but opposition from RV enthusiasts and others has resulted in a citizen-generated initiative on the Nov. 1 election ballot, reports the Denver Post.

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Englewood City Council has worked on parking rules for RVs for some time, but opposition from RV enthusiasts and others has resulted in a citizen-generated initiative on the Nov. 1 election ballot, reports the Denver Post.

The Denver Post reports that the initiative would prohibit virtually any regulation on parking them on private property.

The initiative would prohibit restrictions on weight for any RVs, trailers, off-road vehicles, business-labeled vehicles, campers shells or boats, or regulations on where on private property they can be parked, reports the Denver Post.
