CA: Banning could limit RV parking to four hours

(Feb. 13, 2018) -- Banning residents will have to watch how long they park RVs and similar vehicles on city streets under an ordinance the City Council will consider Feb. 13.

RIVERSIDE, Calif. — Banning residents will have to watch how long they park RVs and similar vehicles on city streets under an ordinance the City Council will consider Feb. 13.

The proposal calls for limiting the amount of time a person can park a recreational vehicle, recreational trailer, utility trailer or vehicle dolly on any city street to four hours. Running power or other lines to a parked RV also would be banned. Service vehicles would be exempt.
