WASHINGTON — Anticipation overtakes Gratitude this time of year. Days fall from the calendar in swirls, like spent autumn leaves. We are readying the welcome mat for both a change of scene and routine. Just like a proper photograph needs contrast, so does life in Lovely Ouray.
We will begin by extending fall in Utah’s red-rocked canyons, where Ms Autumn will soon set fire to maples and oak-brush. Then back to Ouray December, to play in the snow and prep for Christmas. I’ve got a brand new plow so let it snow!
