KELSO, Wash. – Longview Daily News is reporting the driver of a northbound motorhome led police on a 40-mile chase, driving all that distance without lights on, according to the Washington State Police. Troopers told the newspaper that the motorhome varied its speed between 86 and 44 mph and moved across all three lanes. With assistance from Cowlitz County sheriff's deputies and Kelso and Castle Rock police, the motorhome was finally brought to a stop three miles after spike strips deflated a tire, troopers told the Longview Daily News.
