How should you respond to a negative online review?
When I get a negative review, I make sure I respond in public in a very professional manner. The very few negative reviews we've had at my work were all anonymous. I made sure that I signed my name, gave a phone # and invited anyone to call in my response. We had 2 negative reviews within hours o...

Forest River owns dealership property in Texas
Change is coming and more and more people will buy directly from manufacturer as "dealers" have long showed that they aren't concerned about customers, but rather making money at their customers expense.

Visa helps merchants fight chargebacks
While it is certainly unethical for a person to falsely apply for a "charge-back" against his/her credit card, it is the Credit Card companies who make it so easy to apply this scam to their customer's card. There is very little oversight in the use of a card. Why? Most sales clerks are not prop...

PRVCA seeks to reign in Sunday RV sales
I guess Pennsylvania forgot we were supposedly the land of the free. A law against doing whatever is your own business on a Sunday is un-American. Repeal all the laws restricting when someone can sell their product, not make them stricter.

Crescent City KOA featured in Go RVing "Away" campaign Crescent City KOA featured in Go RVing "Away" campaign
By Greg Gerber @ 12:53 PM :: :: 0 Comments :: Article Rating :: RV Parks

CRESCENT CITY, Calif. -- New television, print and Internet ads and the website for Go RVing’s new “Away” ad campaign will be unveiled Nov. 29 in Louisville, Ky. But the campaign will feature activity at a California campground.

One print ad, shot at the Crescent City/Redwoods KOA in California, will feature a young family by the campfire as evening falls, with a Jayco folding camping trailer provided by All Seasons RV Center in Redding, Calif. At nearby campsites, other families with a Forest River R-Pod travel trailer and Itasca Navion Type C will be settling in.

With the proliferation of smartphones in the market, digital technology will play a major role in the campaign to address today’s market conditions and consumer preferences, including a new mobile version of GoRVing.com and print ads will feature a QR code to drive consumers to the mobile site for rich content.

To reflect today’s consumer in the ads, RVs were requested with amenities such as slideouts, computer connections, flat screen TVs, satellite dishes, GPS, iPod docks, rear cameras and automatic leveling.
