John Draheim expounds upon Monaco purchase
we were once a Fleetwood and Monaco dealer. Monaco left us flat with no warranties on the new units and did not honor the one year warranty. John Draheim expounds upon Monaco purchase
Yes but how does this affect the warranty on units we have sold and new units still on my lot manufactured by Navistar RV?
That term "purchased the assets" in the past has meant the new company will NOT honour warranties on units produced by the company whom the "assets" have been purchased from.

RV stolen from Kentucky dealership
By Greg Gerber @ 1:42 PM :: :: 0 Comments :: Article Rating :: RV Industry

SHEPHERDSVILLE, Ky. -- A 2004 Fleetwood Bounder 35E was stolen from Tinker’s Toys RV in Shepherdsville, Ky., at 10 p.m. Sept. 19.

The suspect had driven the Bounder on a test drive during the day on Monday. He returned that night, broke in through a window, took the keys, and made off with the RV, the dealership reported.

He had given a copy of his driver’s license prior to the test drive. He was seen on video during the break in. His license was issued in Ravenna, Michigan.

The Bounder's vehicle identification number is 35E SB4MP67G943382395.

For more information, call Tinker's Toys RV at 502.957.4344.

In a related incident, the staff at Skaggs RV Country in Elizabethtown, Ky., discovered a stolen travel trailer on their lot this morning.

NeVelle Skaggs told RV Daily Report the staff saw the travel trailer on the lot and realized quickly that it was not there for a scheduled service appointment. The VIN was traced to a man in Wentzville, Mo.

The Skaggs staff called the selling dealership looking for the owner only to discover the travel trailer had been stolen.

The same man is suspected of abandoning the stolen travel trailer at Skaggs RV Country and stealing a motorhome from nearby Tinkers Toys RV.

Anyone having information about either theft is encouraged to call the Elizabethtown Police Department at 270.765.4215.
