TORONTO, Ont. -- A study conducted by the U.S.-based market research firm Harris Interactive, revealed that more than 10 million households nationwide are categorized as potential RV owners and express high future interest in buying an RV, according to Go RVing Canada.
"RVers share a great passion for the lifestyle and recognize the many benefits associated with it," said Go RVing Canada Spokesperson Angele Lapointe. "What this study shows is that RVing clearly remains a popular vacation choice, especially for those who are looking for an affordable vacation that offers freedom, flexibility, and fun."
Health and wellness, family togetherness, outdoor engagement and economic benefits are just some of the benefits the non-RV owners that were surveyed recognized.
The study's main focus was to understand the perceptions of recreational vehicles, determine what benefits of RV travel are most experienced by RV owners and what benefits most influence purchase decisions when communicated to non-RV owners, reported the Edmonton Journal.
